We provide a scaffold alarm service to both scaffolders and customers that use our Chichester scaffolding company to erect scaffolds for them. Our alarms provide the necessary security for the scaffold which in turn will protect the building or property it surrounds.
Our scaffold alarms deter unwanted intruders from using scaffolds as a climbing frame to gain access to properties trying to take equipment or materials.
Once it is installed you will have peace of mind that the scaffolding, building and its contents are protected.
When we install our scaffolding alarm systems the following will be included:
Not every property or scaffold needs a security alarm, but it is a good way of deterring intruders if you feel the area that has scaffolding is at potential risk of intrusion. Scaffold alarms can be installed on ANY type of property for example: flats, office blocks, construction sites, high street stores and so on.
When one of our systems is installed, it will be wirelessly monitored 24/7 by professionals and uses advanced technology in motion detection. So that nothing will be missed.
Fast response time – The monitoring station will be able to respond within seconds of receiving footage of the scaffolding alarm being triggered so that a responder will be able to visit site accompanied by local services if required. So you can rest assured your building is in good hands.
Safety at all times 24/7 – When you have an alarm installed on a scaffold there is no need to worry as the structure is protected around the clock.
Validates insurance claims – Did you know that insurance companies expect a scaffold alarm to be installed to ensure the validity of any potential insurance claims whilst you have a structure up around your property.
This will depend on the size of the building, the framework and also the configuration of your site. Every client has different needs, and this is why we offer a free no obligation assessment and a competitive quotation. One of the advantages you have when using our security alarms service, is that you will be dealing with one company at all times as we stock our own alarm systems.
We usually hire our security alarms to clients for a 28-day hire period unless otherwise requested, however if you go over the agreed timeframe then you will be charged extra hire per week and this will be detailed within our quotation.
We offer a bespoke security alarm installation service to all customers. Scaffold alarms are installed to the external part of the structure. As per the NCP 115 code the whole 1st level of scaffolding is to be fully controlled by the alarms detectors, and this also include the ends of the scaffold. Depending on the shape and size of the scaffolds and other considerations like high walls etc additional detectors may be added to ensure full perimeter protection.
Yes, when you appoint our company to install a scaffold alarm we always adhere to the NSI code of practice 2013 (NCP 115). This ensures that the equipment is of the highest quality and that it will be installed in a safe and secure manner taking into consideration weakness areas and any other potential risks.
Most scaffold alarms are set to sound for a few minutes in the event of a trigger, then they will automatically reset and will repeat a further 3 times before shutting down. The responders will already be on the case.
Then why not consider a scaffold alarm for the complete protection and peace of mind that your building and contents is safe whilst scaffolds are in place. When obtaining a quote from us for erecting scaffolds do not forget to ask about our security systems too.
