We provide a professional scaffold service

Welcome to our scaffolding services page, where you can find all the information you need about the different types of solutions and help that we provide.

Every structure we put up includes a 5-board wide working platform with toe boards and stop ends, double handrail and ladder gates for safety and all scaffolding lifts are erected to the height you require.

What does your scaffolding services entail?

We will supply all the equipment and our team of scaffolders will erect the structure for you, this will then be on hire to you for the agreed period of time as per our quotation until we need to come back and dismantle.

For example, as standard our prices usually include 4 weeks hire on smaller projects, but this does depend on the type of scaffolding services you need.

We are always happy to help if longer hire periods are needed.

What types of scaffolding service do you offer?

Below you will find details of the different scaffolding services and help we offer our customers:

Access tower services

Access platforms

This is a popular scaffolding service that we can help with that can be used for many types of working at height scenarios including maintenance jobs, rendering works, decorating or roofing access. These structures can be erected with a single lift or multiple level working areas and will feature many different safety aspects including handrails, ladder gates and toe boards. You can have an access platform at any height and length to suit the type of building you are working around. Our access platform solutions usually start from £300 for smaller structures.

Chimney scaffold

If you need help accessing your chimney for removal, re-pointing, general maintenance or rendering works then this is the scaffolding service you need to get those jobs done. We will erect a structure up to the base of the chimney and then if needed will build working lifts around the chimney itself so you will have access to all four sides of the stack. This is much safer solution than trying to access a chimney via ladders.

Scaffolds over conservatories

Do you need help to gain access to an area that is above a conservatory? Then the best solution is to have our scaffolders erect a beam structure over the top that will not load bear on your conservatory’s roof. This requires a simple framework to be built either side and then aluminium beams are used to take the load of the working platform to ensure your conservatory is safe and not damaged. This solution will give you complete free access to carry out maintenance on gutters, soffits, windows and more.

Temporary roof services

This type of structure is put up and over buildings or working areas to help protect them from the elements and will ensure that the project can continue regardless of the weather outside. Temporary tin roofs are usually exceptionally large structures that take longer to erect than standard scaffolds. Tin hats should only ever be erected by a qualified scaffolder who has the skills to put it up safely. A tin hat roof consists of tube, fittings, beams, and scaffolding boards for the working lifts. They also require CI sheeting for the roof cover and monarflex sheeting to wrap around the framework itself. Prices vary a lot for this kind of service and the price is also very dependent on size and hire period.

Residential scaffolds

Residential

If you are a householder or a builder that works on domestic properties our residential scaffolding services would be suitable for you. We will erect scaffold around any size and shape property giving you access to any area you need. This can be for simple tasks like installing solar panels, repairs, replacing roof tiles, painting, or repointing a property. Sizes do vary depending on what areas you need to access.

Commercial

We have vast experience when it comes to commercial solutions and have worked with many large clients over the years with our progressive site work and maintenance projects. Our commercial scaffold services can include small towers to shop fronts, complete wrap arounds of shopping centres and full height scaffolds to large office blocks. There is no limit to the size of structures we can put up. We will always ensure disruptions are minimal and downtime is non-existent so your commercial project can run smoothly.

Handrail scaffolding service

Edge protection services

Handrails are used to provide fall protection for users and their materials to ensure there is a safe working environment. As a very minimum we will erect double handrail and toe boards around the bottom of any working platforms you are using in line with current health and safety rules. We are also more than happy to help if you require additional handrails and fall protection to suit your property maintenance requirements.

Birdcage and crash deck services

Birdcage services

A birdcage is a simple framework built using uprights, ledgers, transoms, and boards with a working platform at the very top to enable users to access ceilings or roof lights or any internal areas that are unreachable by a ladder. This type of solution can also be known as a crash deck scaffold and is also commonly used as fall protection in new builds.

Design and calculations service

Our scaffold design services are used when you need a structure that is out of the norm or more complex. We have a designer who is fully qualified in creating the right scaffolding solution for your project, and we will work with you and our designer to determine the appropriate framework to suit your needs and then a CAD drawing will be created to enable our scaffolders to erect the structure exactly to the calculations.

Sales of scaffolding equipment

On occasions we sometimes sell new or used scaffold equipment to the general public. We occasionally have spare tubes and scaffold boards that are no longer able to be used for scaffold erecting but are still good enough for a garden or DIY project. There is a minimum order and we do not always have a large selection in stock. However please do get in touch if you would like to find out further information.

What other types of access services do you offer?

As an experienced and professional company we have a selection of other scaffolding services which may assist you with your building or maintenance projects. Please take a look below to find out what else we offer:

Kwikstage

This is another type of scaffold which is less common for us to use but we most certainly have the skills and capabilities to erect if required. Kwikstage can be used in commercial and domestic situations for basic construction requirements, it can also be used when a buildings front is multifaceted and traditional scaffolds cannot be positioned very well.

Inspections

We offer weekly inspections on all the scaffolds we put up; however you may already have your own structure erected and need a safety conscious company to come along and inspect it and ensure the framework is safe to work on for you. If so we will arrange to come out and inspect your scaffolding every 7 days for extra piece of mind. Call us to find out more about our costs.

Industrial

Generally, this is a bespoke service as with any type of industrial scaffolding it has its own set of distinctive tasks and environmental factors to enable a framework to be erected safely. We have worked with many different types of industrial clients including power stations, offshore oil rigs, factories, and manufacturing sites. We offer short term or long-term hire periods to suit your requirements.
